While many sports programs will claim to build life and leadership skills through participation, Black Belt America’s curriculum teaches children to accept responsibility for their actions and their attitude as the primary focus of their martial arts instruction. Black Belt America’s integrated system of achievement is fun, high energy, and a positive experience that gives kids a true “I love karate” attitude!

The School Safe/Street Safe Program

Along with our Character Development Program, Black Belt America’s unique “School Safe/Street Safe Program" is an essential component of our Basic Martial Arts instruction and provides our martial arts students with reality-based scenarios that teach them how to be more aware of their surroundings, avoid potentially dangerous situations, and use defensive tactics and behaviors other than contact martial arts.

Character Development Program

The instructors at Black Belt America understand that daily life is full of decisions for our youth—decisions that may be made on their own or in the face of peer pressure. Black Belt America’s Character Develop Program creates a learning environment that helps our students understand how martial arts and character/values are woven together.
